NJ - The Assembly State Government Committee listens
to and votes on legislation, sponsored by Assemblyman
Jim Whelan, that would limit the number of absentee ballots
that could be handled by a designated messenger to only
10. The measure is designed to combat the alleged misuse
of messenger ballots, and stop the potential voter fraud
which has haunted Atlantic County elections for years.
